Next steps

How to use the result

1

Paste it in the head

Copy the script tag and add it to the page it describes, usually your homepage. Every platform has a header code field for this.

2

Test the live page

Run the published page through the Rich Results Test and fix anything it flags. Details must match what the page shows.

3

Back it with real content

Markup only confirms what the page says. Check your copy with the Answer Readiness Grader, then add an llms.txt file.

Questions

Frequently asked

What is schema markup?

Schema markup is structured data, written in JSON-LD, that describes your business using the shared schema.org vocabulary. It lives in a script tag, visitors never see it, and search engines and AI assistants read it to confirm your name, address, hours and services without guessing.

Where do I paste the generated code?

Copy the script tag and paste it into the head of the page it describes, usually your homepage or location page. Most platforms have a field for this: Code Injection in Squarespace, Custom Code in Webflow, or a header plugin in WordPress. Use one block per page and keep it consistent with what the page shows.

Will schema markup get me rich results in Google?

Valid markup makes a page eligible, but Google decides what to show. FAQ rich results are now mostly limited to well known government and health sites, yet FAQPage markup still helps AI assistants match your answers to real questions. Accurate business details are what matter most.

Can I add star ratings to my own business markup?

Only if the rating summarizes genuine reviews that visitors can read on the same page. Google does not show review stars for ratings a business publishes about itself, and invented or hidden ratings can lead to a manual action. When in doubt, leave the rating out.

How do I test the markup after I publish it?

Run the live page through the Google Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator. Then use our AI Visibility Scanner to confirm AI crawlers can read it alongside your other signals.

Is the information I enter stored anywhere?

No. The generator runs entirely in your browser. Your last inputs are saved in this browser only so you can pick up where you left off, and share links keep the data in the part of the address after the # sign, which is never sent to our server.
