Nothing hidden

Every point comes with its receipts

Open any check in your report and you see four things. No black box, no vague grades.

1

What we found

The raw evidence: the robots.txt line that matched each crawler, your title and its length, JSON-LD types, the first lines of llms.txt, response time and header values.

2

Why it matters

One or two plain sentences on how the signal affects AI assistants and search.

3

How it is scored

The exact rule, for example: full 8 points for an llms.txt with a heading, a summary and 3 or more links, 6 if the summary or links are missing.

4

How to fix

The specific change, with a link to the free tool that makes it.

The report also shows how the five categories add up to your score, where you land on the grade bands (A 90 and up, B 80, C 65, D 50, F below 50), your likely score after the top fixes, and the math behind each AI engine score. Read the full scoring method.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does the AI Visibility Scanner check?

It fetches your homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt, llms-full.txt and sitemap the way a crawler would, then runs 26 checks in five groups: AI crawler access, AI files, structured data, content and meta, and technical trust. Each check shows the points earned, the raw evidence we found, why it matters, the exact scoring rule and how to fix it.

How is the score calculated?

Each of the 26 checks has a fixed number of points and a written rule, and the total is out of 100: crawler access 25, AI files 20, structured data 20, content and meta 20, technical trust 15. Partial credit applies where a signal exists but is incomplete. The report shows the evidence and rule behind every point and how the categories add up to your score. Each AI engine score is up to 40 points for crawler access plus up to 60 points for understanding, weighted by the signals that engine relies on. See the full method.

Is the scan really free?

Yes. No account, no email and no limit for normal use. Results are cached for 15 minutes, and you can rescan any time to see changes.

Can I share or save the report?

Every report has its own link you can send to a client or developer. You can also save it as a PDF, copy a plain-text summary or export the raw data as JSON.

Why can't the scanner reach my site?

Some firewalls and hosting plans block automated visitors. If our scanner is blocked, AI crawlers may be blocked the same way, which is worth raising with your host. You can still use the robots.txt builder and llms.txt generator.

Does a high score guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?

No tool can guarantee placement in AI answers. A high score means nothing technical is stopping assistants from reading, understanding and citing you. Reviews, reputation and helpful content then decide who gets recommended.
